Anchor Block Removal

Wave Hub Site – Hayle, Cornwall

 

Mariners are advised that between 4th March and 15th August 2022, subject to suitable weather windows, operations will take place to remove redundant concrete and steel anchor blocks from the following locations.

This will include ROV, subsea rigging, winching and under-slinging operations carried out from work vessels and heavy lift barges. Throughout said operations, these vessels shall be restricted in their ability to manoeuvre and shall be marked/ lit as such. A wide berth is requested.

 

Prior to commencing operations, an all-ships safety call shall be broadcast on VHF Ch16 confirming vessels on site and times of operation. All vessels will be contactable on VHF CH16, DSC70 for further information or Working Channel VHF 17.
